Smilin" Bill Bucktails

Effective immediately and until further notice I'm raising the size limit on bucktails I can tie.  The new upper size limit is 2 ozs.  This is two sizes larger than the previous limit.   These size limitations are caused by the on again and off again supply shortage of deer tails.  Until I can be sure of a steady supply of appropriate size tails these limits have to be enforced.  Thanks for your understanding.

     Bare heads and heads that are painted but not dressed will all be available as normal.

     These are an all time classic lure primarily used in the surf for game fish like Striped Bass, Bluefish, Weakfish, Channel bass, Redfish and a long list of others.
