FB Ultra Minnows, Pre Painted.

A lot of guys like to paint and tie their own heads or at least try their hand at it but the cost of gearing up to pour and paint the heads is prohibitive.  It also requires a well ventilated place to do it and an investment in equipment and materials.  Result is they just don't do it.  Here's a possible solution.  Pre-painted heads at a reasonable cost and readily available.

     What you see here is the popular FB Ultra Minnow style jig head.  They are a modified version of the popular Ultra Minnow style jig.  By moving the line tie point forward they make a better presentation in situations with a low angle retrieve like from the beach or shallow bays.  

     As with all the tackle I make they are made using Mustad hooks that are 2x strong, tin plated for rust resistance in salt water, and forged for strength.  Paint is heat applied powder coat.  It's then heat cured for toughness.  When accent colors are applied it is done using spray vinyl. The whole head is then again coated with clear powder coat and again heat cured.  

     If you're looking for a good all around jig head to finish dressing this could be it.
