Smilin" Bill Bucktails

     Effective immediately and until further notice I won't be tieing bucktails in sizes over 1 oz.   The slowly worsening deer tail shortage has finally caught up to me.  I have received my last shipment of tails until next Fall. As a result I don't have enough tails with long enough hair and of good enough quality to continue those sizes.  I expect this to continue until next October or November.

     Sizes up to and including 1 ozs are not affected by this.

     My apologies for this inconvenience but there isn't much I can do about it other than using artificial materials.  I would only do that on request.

     Bare heads and heads that are painted but not dressed will all be available as normal.

     These are an all time classic lure primarily used in the surf for game fish like Striped Bass, Bluefish, Weakfish, Channel bass, Redfish and a long list of others.

     Quality manufacturing includes Mustad # 34185 2x strong, forged and plated hooks, heat cured powder paint for the primary coat, vinyl sprayed accent colors that are clear coated overall, extra generous deer hair tails and epoxy coated wraps to stand up to toothy critters.

     The color selection shown isn't the only ones available.  Only your imagination is the limit.  If you don't see what you want, just ask!  If I can make it I will.
