Tin Teasers Again

Tin Teasers Again

$ 2.75

Here's a lure not often seen. These are a forward balanced bucktail made for light tackle, shallow water use. From a beach, in a river or inlet or especially from a kayak fluke (summer flounder), weakfish, small blues and a whole host of other inshore game fish are caught on these.

Made from tin, not lead, they are lighter per size, have a soft plastic grub tail for action and use strong plated hooks.

As a stand alone lure they are great but they can also be used as a teaser ahead of a bigger lure like a bucktail, slab spoon like a Hopkins, or a plug.

These are a variation on the same lure listed here but tied with deer hair tails.  By using a soft plastic grub tail a couple advantages over the hair version are achieved.  Casting distance is a bit longer, the tails can be easily replaced due to fish damage or if Berkeley Gulp! is preferred (my favorite way), and they are cheaper.
